We are proud and happy to participate with a project in a new edition of the Hazitek programme to support Research and Business Development. An action co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
These grants support the implementation of Industrial Research Projects, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and skills that may be useful for developing new products, processes or services or allow for the significant improvement of existing ones or Experimental Development projects, focused on the acquisition, combination, configuration and use of existing knowledge and techniques of a scientific, technological, business or other nature, with a view to the development of plans and structures or designs for new or improved products, processes or services.
Since the beginning of our activity as manufacturers of chamfering machines in our company, we have been firmly committed to innovation. Thanks to the combination of our own investment and initiatives such as, for example, the Hazitek programme, we have been able to grow and develop innovative solutions throughout our history. And this is how we think about our future, continuing with our commitment to R&D&I to provide innovative solutions, efficient products and valuable services in the sector.
One of the types of cutting tools used in our chamfering machines has a chromodide coating in order to be able to use the machine for chamfering stainless and high-strength materials. Our participation in the project will be of vital importance in order to be able to test the alternatives developed for the chrome plating process on our customers.
Any improvement we can implement in the cutting tool used in the machines we manufacture opens up a wide range of possibilities in new applications, materials, machine capacities, etc. It is an improvement of vital importance for our survival and competition with alternative systems.
CEVISA's strategy is constant innovation, responding to the needs of our customers through the development of new machines, functionalities, capabilities, ... Within this line, improving the cutting tool is a vital competitive difference.
